white shield signs for the Throgs Neck, the Bronx-Whitestone
Bridge had blue shields steering motorists towards it. This perfect
speciman resides at the Clearview Expwy's Willets Point exit.
Though it is formally named the Bronx-Whitestone, most people
refer to it simply as "The Whitestone". The Queens
touchdown point of the Whitestone is only about a mile and a
half northwest of the Throgs. |
