| Looking south from Half Moon Park, just off Independence and Palisade Avenues, in the Bronx's Spuyten Duyvil neighboroohd, just to the south of Riverdale. The park overlooks the old NY Central swivel drawbridge, at the delta of the Hudson River, where the neighborhood's namesake river breaks off, towards the left. New Jersey's Palisades cliffs are in the background to the right, and one of the George Washington Bridge's towers is barely visible behind Manhattan's Inwood Park hill. Shot 10/98. |
