For those of you who are familiar with the video game True Crime New York City, did you know that you can get up here from Manhattan? A nice chunk of the Bronx exists in that game, and parts of western Queens and Brooklyn between the Battery Tunnel and Astoria. They're very buggy and incompletely formed, but game characters still spawn there and a whole virtual life takes place there unseen while your cop character is diddling around in Manhattan.
Why on earth am I devoting almost all this page to stuff that has nothing to do with West 239th Street, or the parkway in general? For one thing, I have nothing to say about 239th Street. Sorry. And I'm typing this out at 4:45 AM and ready to drop. That's what happens when I write in a state of exhaustion.
